Flux-Weakening Control of Dual Three-Phase PMSM Based on Vector Space Decomposition Control

This article proposes a flux-weakening (FW) control for dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine (DTPMSM) based on vector space decomposition (VSD) control, where the output voltage in ?? subplane is employed feedback FW loop. As fundamental components are mapped to while fifth and seventh harmonics projected harmonic z 1 xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2 subplane, current from this new sixth harmonic-free regardless of being resulted nonsinusoidal back electromotive force (EMF) or inverter nonlinearity. The proposed compared with conventional extended DT-PMSM, applied two sets windings separately. experimental results show that VSD superior terms reduction unbalance currents.
